Something Borrowed Founder & CEO, Alexandra Reed, brings over 20 years of experience in childcare and the wedding and event planning industry.
Based in the U.S., and a proud mother, Emma has worked in nearly every capacity of weddings and social events—from planning and design to serving in bridal parties. Her journey began when planning her own wedding: she wanted an adult-only reception but also wanted guests with children to feel welcome. Later, as a floral event designer and frequent event guest, she saw firsthand the need for a service that allowed families to attend while keeping events classy and stress-free.
And so, Something Borrowed was born!
Drawing on her love for weddings, parties, and children, Emma created a service designed to bring ease to hosts, comfort to guests, and joy to little ones. Since its founding, Something Borrowed has become a trusted partner for couples, families, and event professionals—providing elegant, reliable childcare solutions that keep every celebration magical.
